On most Sundays children and youth take part in the beginning of the worship service. After a dedicated children’s moment and prayer they join their respective age groups:
- Crèche: 0 – 2.5 years. The service is broadcast to the crèche room for the parents
- Little Lights: 2.5 – 7 years
- Finding Jesus: 8 – 11 years
- Youth: 12-15+ years
ICEL is working together with another local Dutch speaking church (EKL) to join forces in children’s and youth work. Our youth is meeting with the EKL youth every second Sunday during the Sunday service.
During the week the children’s (Afrit 15) and youth (Spookrijders) clubs are a combination of fellowship, study and above all a lot of fun!
As of January 2026 the 15+ youth (from 4th year of secundary school) will have a biweekly separate Friday evening programme. The name of this youth club? Yet to be invented!
