Psalm 63
1 You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water.
2 I have seen you in the sanctuary
and beheld your power and your glory.
3 Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
4 I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.
5 I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods;
with singing lips my mouth will praise you.
6 On my bed I remember you;
I think of you through the watches of the night.
7 Because you are my help,
I sing in the shadow of your wings.
8 I cling to you;
your right hand upholds me.
What we long for we tend to focus on. What we focus on defines our life and directs our thoughts and actions. This simple process helps determine who or what we worship and ultimately who we become. We must determine every morning what we are going to define ourselves by and what we are going to worship that day. When we go to bed at night we again set our eyes on the Father who watches us and holds us bringing hope to whatever tomorrow brings. The psalmist is painting a word picture of the kind of relationship the Father desires for us. This week see Him each morning and let Him hold you in the evening.
THIS SATURDAY at 5pm Join us for ICEL’s annual Thanksgiving Meal held at ETF. There is still time to Register to let us know what dish you can bring to share and let us know how many to prepare for.

We will need a few people to help set up and clean up. If you are available to help please let me know!
Please note that the Thursday evening Prayer Meeting and Friday Fellowship at Het Goede Boek are taking the week off and will resume next week.
Have a great week!
Blessings,
